Several repair projects will make travel a little trickier for Springfield drivers in the coming days.
Washington Street is closed at the Third Street tracks through Tuesday for repairs to the tracks. Detour signs are posted. In addition, Stanford Avenue is closed between 11th Street and Fox Bridge Road, except for local traffic. Ameren crews are relocating a gas main.
That work is expected to last up to four weeks.
