Regional gas prices are on the decline, per the U.S. Energy Information Administration

Regional gas prices fell last week at an average of $3.46 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, down from last week’s price of $3.47 per gallon – according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The average fuel price in the Midwest region has risen about 6 cents since last month.

Gas prices across the region in the last year have been as low as $2.77 on Jan. 8, 2024, and as high as $3.77 on Aug. 14, 2023.

A year ago, the average gas price in the Midwest region
was 3% higher at $3.55 per gallon.
