The newly re-opened Korean fusion restaurant will be find its new home above Buzz Bomb Brewing.
The local bistro Seoul 4 Soul is set to re-open next month in a new downtown Springfield location. Chef Kimsimone Manning, who is also an adjunct instructor for culinary community education at Lincoln Land Community College, previously ran her Korean fusion brand as a pop-up kitchen located in The Barn on Wabash Ave. in 2021.
Until The Barn eventually shut down, Seoul 4 Soul was well received. It will now re-open with the partnership of former VeggOut owner, Chef Emily Tylman, who also ran a pop-up out of The Barn.
The new restaurant will be located close to the Old State Capitol at 406 E. Adams Street, in the upper story of Buzz Bomb Brewing Company. Opening day is planned for January 3rd, with a special event to be held on New Year’s Eve together with Buzz Bomb.
