An Effingham man was sentenced yesterday in Federal Court to 4 years in prison for a Springfield bank robbery.
22-year-old Dillon Rensner admitted to entering the Regions Bank at 111 South Durkin Drive in Springfield and demanded money from bank employees while branding a pistol.
He was caught within a couple of days, having made off with less than $1,500; Resner faced up to 25 years in prison for his crime.
