Relief may be in sight for Illinois workers idled by the United Auto Workers strike. UAW leaders posted a video on X Wednesday night announcing a tentative deal with Ford. Union president Shawn Fain said union officials would meet Sunday to decide whether to send the tentative agreement to members.
A vote by rank and file members is expected next week. There was no immediate word on progress with General Motors and Stellantis.
