In anticipation of the debate over Illinois’ moratorium on the construction of nuclear power plants, the Lincoln Library will offer a screening of the documentary “Atomic Bamboozle: The False Promise of a Nuclear Renaissance” with a Zoom discussion with the filmmaker to follow.
The film begins Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Library, 326 S. 7th Street in Springfield.
Nuclear Energy Information Service Director David Kraft will moderate the discussion and conduct a short presentation arguing against the building of small modular nuclear reactors.
