NASA releases initial findings after studying collected asteroid sample

NASA has just released its initial findings after studying a sample collected from an asteroid.

Scientists showing off the material for the press told reporters that the material shows evidence of high-carbon content and water, which together could indicate the building blocks of life on Earth may be found in the rock.

The sample is by far the largest remotely captured asteroid sample ever delivered to Earth, and NASA Administrator Bill Nelson predicted that scientists would spend decades studying it.
