MLB baseball playoff action yesterday the Texas Rangers won a slugfest in Baltimore defeating the Orioles 11-8. The Rangers now lead that series two games to none. Elsewhere former Houston Astro Carlos Correa had 3 hits and drove in 3 runs as the Minnesota Twins beat the Astros in Houston 6-2 in the final. That series is now tied at a game apiece.

MLB playoff action today the Philadelphia Phillies are in Atlanta for game 2 of that series against the Braves; Phils lead the series 1-0. Also, in the NL, the Arizona Diamondbacks are in LA to face the Dodgers. The D-Backs lead the series 1-0.

NFL Sunday night football last night, the San Francisco 49ers blew out the Dallas Cowboys 42-10 in the final. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott threw three ints in the contest, while the 49ers QB Brock Purdy threw 4 TDs in the game. The win was the 49er’s 15th consecutive regular-season win.

Monday Night Football tonight, the Green Bay Packers are in Las Vegas to take on the Raiders. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. CT.
