City Water Light & Power responded to a power outage that left nearly 4,000 in the dark for but a few minutes on Tuesday afternoon.
The disturbance in the early afternoon on Tuesday, west of Veterans Parkway from West Iles Avenue to the Cider Mill Lane area, was soon determined to be nothing more than a failure of relay equipment at the city’s Washington Street substation.
