Illinois man wins $2 million dollar scratch-off game, proceeds to call his boss to quit his job

There is one fewer employee in Illinois today as a man won $2 million from a scratch-off ticket bought in Morris.

A 66-year-old Illinois man – who wishes to remain anonymous – bought the ticket at a gas station and when he realized he’d won, placed his first phone call to his boss, announcing his retirement effective immediately.

He told reporters he plans to buy a new RV with part of the money.
