ImpactLife is teaming up with AdoptAClassroom.org to make individual blood donations across Illinois even more powerful.
Between now and September 10, all presenting donors will receive a voucher to redeem for the blood donor’s choice of an electronic gift card or an equivalent value donation that will support students and teachers in the region.
ImpactLife noted that the new promotion comes during a difficult time for our region’s blood supply. O-positive and O-negative red blood cell inventories have ranged from just 1.5 days to a 3-days in recent weeks.
The company usually seeks to maintain a 5- to 7-day supply for all blood types and components to best meet patient needs across our region.
Donors can schedule appointments at ImpactLife donor center locations in Danville, Decatur, Mattoon, Peoria, and Springfield – as well as at mobile blood drives held across central and eastern Illinois.
