Mega Millions and Powerball reach a combined jackpot of $1.017 billion.
The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday night’s drawing now stands at $427 million – the third largest jackpot of 2023, while the Powerball jackpot for Saturday night’s drawing is an estimated $590 million – the second largest of the year.
So far this year, five Illinoisans have won prizes of $1 million or more playing the Mega Millions or Powerball games.
The next Mega Millions drawing is tonight, July 7, and the next Powerball drawing is Saturday, July 8 at 9:59 p.m. (CT).
