Two local lawmakers, one current and one former, are being recognized with an honorary road designation in their names.
Officials in Leland Grove have designated a stretch of Chatham Road through their village as the “McClure-Murphy Parkway.”
It pays tribute to State Senator Steve McClure and former Representative Mike Murphy.
Both are being honored for their efforts to help secure funding for the Chatham Road resurfacing and other projects in Leland Grove.
