Activists on both side of abortion debate continue talking about Dobbs decision one year later

Activists on both sides of the abortion debate are discussing the impact of the U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade exactly one year ago.

Governor JB Pritzker wrote an article for the magazine Salon where he discussed his efforts to protect abortion rights in Illinois, even as surrounding states imposed tighter restrictions on the procedure.

Pritzker is vowing that abortion will remain legal in Illinois, and will be an issue between a woman and her doctor – not the state.

Meanwhile, Springfield Right to Life is calling for people to come together in prayer and thanks on Saturday, the one-year anniversary of the Dobbs decision.
