After a slow start in their opening day affair, the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes found some late life to steal their first win of the freshly started season.
The ‘Shoes came from behind last evening – thanks to the final knock by shortstop Trent Koehler – and earned themselves a walk-off win in their home opener against the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp, by the final score of 6-5.

The ‘Shoes will take on the Quincy Gems tonight – Thursday, June 1 – at Robin Roberts Stadium; the first pitch is at 6:30 pm.
