Springfield Mayor Misty Buscher is wrapping up her first week in office with an open letter to the community.
In the letter, included as part of the city’s weekly emailed announcements, Buscher said she’s been busy making appointments to city positions, meeting with state lawmakers, and attending board meetings and events; Buscher additionally notes that she’s eager to get to work to help Springfield grow and prosper.
