Work is underway for a new indoor theme park planned for a long-vacant space within White Oaks Mall.
The Springfield Business Journal reports Malibu Jack’s is planning to open inside the space formerly occupied by Bergner’s, which closed in 2018.
The company’s other sites in Kentucky and Indiana feature amusement rides, bumper cars, go-karts, bowling, miniature golf, and other attractions, along with a restaurant and bar.
It wasn’t immediately known how soon the business will open.
