The Chicago Bears made a bit of a splash yesterday when free agency opened, signing four players—three on the defensive side and 1 on the offensive line. The highlight of the day was the signing of LB Tremaine Edmunds. Edmunds was a 2-time pro bowler for the Buffalo Bills. The Bears also signed LB T.J. Edwards from the Philadelphia Eagles, DE DeMarcus Walker from the Tennessee Titans and OG Nate Davis from the Titans as well. The signings will be made official on Wednesday.

On the ice tonight the Chicago Blackhawks host the league leading Boston Bruins at the United Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30p CT. Off the ice the Hawks announced yesterday that they will be shutting down forward Cole Guttman for the remainder of the season.

Guttman will be undergoing shoulder surgery
NCAA tourney a pair of first four games willbe played tonight. In the opener Southeast Missouri State takes on Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

The winner faces the #1 overall seed Alabama on Thursday. In the night cap Pittsburgh battles Mississippi State.

Winner takes on 6th-seeded Iowa State on Thursday.
