One of the leading contenders in the race for Chicago mayor now says hackers may be to blame for a series of questionable social media interactions.
A review of Paul Vallas’s social media accounts found numerous “likes” for content that was flagged as racist, sexist, or otherwise offensive.
Vallas denied responsibility and said the account was managed by campaign staffers and volunteers – but now says the campaign is looking into the possibility that the account was hacked.
