Sangamon County is no longer reporting daily COVID-19 case numbers.
The county health department announced the change on its Facebook page, and did not immediately provide a reason for the change.
COVID stats by county are available on the Illinois Department of Public Health page. It currently shows the county at just under 74,000 total cases since the start of the pandemic, with 431 deaths from COVID… higher than the 422 deaths reported by the county in its final update last Thursday.
