Springfield police are investigating a shooting early Saturday morning outside a downtown bar.
At around 1:20am, officers responded to a report of armed men in the rear parking lot near Wet Bar. As police arrived, they heard shots fired and saw a car exiting the lot at a high rate of speed.
One victim was found on the ground outside Wet Bar with a wound to the head. The 22-year-old male was taken into surgery and is reported to be stable. Police found the vehicle at I-72 and Veterans Parkway and are questioning the occupants.
