A Taylorville man has been sentenced to nearly six years in prison for possession of child pornography.
53-year-old William Single pleaded guilty earlier this year to federal charges. The U.S. Attorney’s office presented evidence that Single had been in possession of more than 600 pornographic images involving minors and had traded images with someone in New Jersey over an online messenger app.
In addition to his prison term, Single was ordered to pay $10,000 to one of his child porn victims.
