Republican candidate for governor Richard Irvin is still refusing to say whether he voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 and 2020 elections.
The question has led to several showdowns between Irvin and members of the media, and it happened again during a stop in Springfield Saturday, where Irvin repeatedly refused to directly answer the question.
The issue of which GOP candidate is a true conservative and backer of Trump has become a key issue in the primary.
