The Sangamon County Coroner has confirmed the death of a county jail inmate last month, but says the cause of his death is still unknown.
23-year-old Dylan Schlieper-Clark fell ill in the jail on April 14th and was transported to Springfield Memorial Hospital. He died there three days later. The autopsy did not show any sign of injury or trauma.
After media inquiries, Allmon publicly disclosed the death. He says he’s still awaiting the results of toxicology tests and tissue analysis in hopes of determining the cause of death.
