Saturday marks the 30th Earth Awareness Fair put on by the City of Springfield.
The free, family event promotes renewable energy and sustainable environmental practices. More than 30 display stations will be on hand inside and outside of Henson Robinson Zoo, along with hands-on learning stations, arts and crafts, and giveaways. SMTD will offer free shuttle buses from its downtown transfer station to the zoo, and admission to the zoo is free during the event Saturday from 11am to 4pm.
