I can’t believe we are already here! Being new to Springfield, I am wanting to meet and try as many new things and people as possible. When we decided to kick off Thirsty Thursdays it was a way to introduce breweries to you that you may not know about. Also, selfishly, I wanted to get out myself and see what was out there. Let me tell you, my friends, there is a TON of good beer all around us.
At the beginning, we wanted to talk to people who were brewing their own beer to see what their styles and backgrounds were. As we talked to more and more local breweries, one of the common threads was, “Talk to Bill over at Terra Ferment.” So we did. What can I say, this place in unbelievable and a must see for locals and people coming through Springfield.
Located right downtown, Bill has mad for us an opportunity to learn about beer. Not just domestically, either. Bill has traveled the world and studied beer with the best of them. Not only can you learn about beer, but Bill curates a line of taps that have beers from all over the world.
Beer is one thing that brings people together. It is culturally woven deep in our threads here in the US but much deeper in other parts of the world. So grab some friends, and experience the age old tradition of drinking beer and enjoying your company. It’s what life about. Terra Ferment is the PERFECT place to do that.
