Springfield’s convention center board has chosen a longtime employee to become the next general manager of the BOS Center.
Jodi Davis has worked at the Center for more than 28 years, starting in the box office as a ticket seller when she was a teenager. Since then, she’s held a variety of positions, including Event Coordinator, Comptroller, Interim Concessions Manager, and Assistant General Manager under Brian Oaks, who recently left the top job at the BOS Center for a new position in Arkansas.
The board says Davis knows the building inside and out and has a longstanding relationship with the Center’s community partners and clients. [She will appear live on the Jim Leach Show, Thursday afternoon just after 4pm on WMAY.]
