The Susan G. Komen Springfield More Than Pink Walk is coming to downtown Springfield.
The walk will be at the Illinois State Capitol this upcoming Saturday – beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Officials say this signature event enables Komen to raise critical funds that provide direct support to local breast cancer patients, fund groundbreaking research, empower health equity initiatives nationwide, and advocate for change at both the state and federal government levels.
Funds from the MORE THAN PINK Walk will allow Komen to meet the immediate needs of breast cancer patients through its free Breast Care Helpline and offer services such as patient navigation, financial assistance, and emotional support.
