Jacksonville teen charged with disorderly conduct after making online threats against the community’s middle and high school

A teen is charged with disorderly conduct after online threats were made against Jacksonville Middle School and High School.

Authorities say police began investigating the threats Thursday after officials received a complaint of a student possessing a gun at Jacksonville Middle School.

Investigators determined that a 13-year-old student made statements to others at the school.

The teen was arrested and released to a family member.
