A recent survey finds the race for Springfield mayor is neck and neck, with Election Day coming up next week.

The poll from Cor Strategies gives challenger Misty Buscher a slight edge over incumbent Mayor Jim Langfelder, 39% to 37% – but her lead is within the poll’s 4.3% margin of error.

In addition, the poll was conducted more than two weeks ago, with 25% of voters undecided at that time.

Cor Strategies says on its website that Buscher may have the momentum, but still classifies the race as a toss-up.
