Former Republican candidate for governor Darren Bailey is calling for the state GOP chairman to step down from his postion.
Bailey made the comment in a Facebook post in response to Chairman Don Tracy’s comments on WMAY this week that good Republican candidates up and down the ticket were impacted by the top of the ticket – in reference to Bailey.
Bailey says Tracy is pointing fingers at him to distract from the party’s failures – and says Tracy should follow the lead of former House GOP leader Jim Durkin and resign to atone for those failures.
