Springfield aldermen will get to vote this month on acquiring a bookmobile for the city’s public library.
Lincoln Library put out a request for bids for the project earlier this year, and says the low bidder is Farber Specialty Vehicles, based in Ohio. The custom-built Freightliner bookmobile would cost just over $480,000.
The ordinance is on first reading this week before the City Council.
