A Macoupin County man is headed to prison for six years after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
Authorities say 22-year-old Allyn Matthew Burtle of Nilwood requested pictures of a sexual nature from a child while playing an online game… despite knowing the child was under the age of 13. Prosecutors obtained a search warrant and discovered other child porn images on Burtle’s phone.
The Illinois Attorney General’s Office and Macoupin County State’s Attorney’s office jointly prosecuted the case.
