Three people are dead and another person is seriously injured following a crash Monday in Christian County.
A passenger vehicle and a grain truck collided at the intersection of two county highways just north of Assumption around 1:15 Monday afternoon. The grain truck overturned and both occupants were ejected from it. The Christian County coroner says the driver of the truck, 34-year-old Brian Callan of Blue Mound, was pronounced dead at a hospital in Pana. The passenger in the truck, 29-year-old Keirsty Hughes, also of Blue Mound… and the passenger in the car, 36-year-old Sarah Myers of Bethany… were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was airlifted to a regional hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
