You can catch 3 free performances from members of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra this weekend.
The Around the Town performances by the Illinois Symphony Orchestra String Quartet and Woodwind Quintet will take place in Taylorville, Springfield, and Bloomington. The first performance on Friday March 25th will be in Taylorville at Taylorville Christian Church. Saturday the 26th you can catch them at Temple B’rith Sholom in Springfield, then on Sunday the 27th in Bloomington at Moses Montefiore Temple. Music selections will feature Julia Wolfe, Darius Milhaud, György Ligeti, Erich Wolfgang Korngold, and Gabriela Lena Frank.
All performances are at 7pm and free to the public.
