One of the major events scheduled for Lincoln’s Birthday this year has been pushed back to June because of COVID concerns.
This year, the annual Lincoln Symposium features a keynote address by noted historian Jon Meacham. Meacham will still appear at the event, but it has been pushed back to June 21st. Organizers say the decision was made because of the ongoing high rate of COVID cases.
A separate luncheon event with several speakers has also been rescheduled to June 21st, with more details to come on the status of participants for that event.
