LaHood Wins Re-Election, As GOP Loses Control Of U.S. House

The good news for Congressman Darin LaHood is that he is going back to Congress. The bad news is that this time, he’ll be in the minority party.
LaHood easily defeated Democratic challenger Junius Rodriguez for the second straight election. But his Republican party lost control of the House, which could dramatically reshape the balance of power in Washington. LaHood says he will work with anyone to find common ground, and believes Democrats and Republicans can work cooperatively on areas like trade and infrastructure.
