Congressman Rodney Davis and Democratic challenger Betsy Dirksen Londrigan have come through their first face-to-face meeting… a 13th Congressional District debate heard live Monday night on WMAY.
While their exchanges were generally civil, each accused the other of lying… with Londrigan saying Davis lied in an ad about her connection to a disputed Lincoln hat, and Davis accusing Londrigan of lying about his record on health care.
The two also disagreed on the 2017 GOP tax cuts, abortion, and the need for a border wall.
