If you bought a Powerball ticket in Springfield for Wednesday’s drawing, you could be sitting on a million dollars.
A Quick Pick ticket sold at the Shell station on J. David Jones Parkway matched five of the six numbers drawn Wednesday night. Matching everything except the Powerball wins a million dollars. Lottery officials say if you have the winning ticket, sign the back of it and then put it in a safe place until you can make arrangements to redeem it.
The convenience store that sold the ticket will get $10,000… equal to one-percent of the prize.
