The numbers are already substantial… and we have still have months to go until the general election.
Governor Bruce Rauner and Democratic opponent J.B. Pritzker continue to spend enormous sums of cash in their push to Election Day.
In the latest campaign finance reports, Pritzker reports spending more than $20 million in just the second quarter of this year… compared to less than $8 million for the Republican incumbent. But Rauner has more cash on hand for the stretch run… nearly $32 million, compared to $18 million for Pritzker.
