You’ll get your first chance to see the newly-renovated Governor’s Mansion this weekend. The Mansion in downtown Springfield reopens for public tours Saturday for the first time since a privately-funded $15 million renovation was completed.
The project included repairs to the home’s leaky roof and other physical issues, and for the first time it’s fully accessible for those with disabilities. New exhibits have also been added. Free tours are available first-come, first-served, with tickets available starting at 9am Saturday at the Mansion.
