He was, at least temporarily, a candidate for Illinois governor. But now the name of Terry Getz has been removed from the upcoming ballot by state elections officials.
Even though no one filed a formal objection to Getz’s petition to get on the Democratic ballot for governor next year, the State Board of Elections moved on its own to disqualify Getz… because he submitted no signatures at all on his nominating petitions.
5,000 valid signatures are required. Six other Democrats remain on the ballot for governor in the March primary
