Macoupin County Under Tornado Watch Until 8pm Tuesday

Macoupin County is included in a tornado watch issued by the National Weather Service. That watch, which also includes areas farther west and south, is in effect until 8pm Tuesday.

A watch means that conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes and severe storms.
