CPS Email Typo Takes Parents to Sexually Suggestive Website

Another good reason to always check for typos… an e-mail sent from Chicago public schools to parents included what was supposed to be a link to the State Board of Education website.

 

But an extra letter was inadvertently added to that web address, so instead it took parents to a website focused on women and sex.

 

The school system says the error was inadvertent, and quickly sent out a follow-up e-mail with a corrected link.
