A big gun show is being held this weekend at the Illinois State Fairgrounds… but Governor Pat Quinn may be having second thoughts about such events in the future.
Quinn… who is seeking a ban on some of the weapons being sold at that show… is looking at efforts in other states to prohibit gun shows on government-owned property, according to a spokeswoman.
The gun show this weekend also coincides with national events to mark “Gun Appreciation Day,” including a pro-gun rally on the State Capitol grounds.
