Gun Rights Advocates to Rally Saturday at Statehouse

Gun rights supporters plan a rally at the Statehouse this weekend in a show of strength in the fight against new restrictions on firearms ownership.

 

Hundreds of people are expected to attend the event at noon Saturday, near the Abraham Lincoln statue in front of the Capitol on the 2nd Street side.

 

Organizers say they want to make it clear that they will stand up against federal or state efforts to limit their 2nd Amendment rights.
