Lake Fork Men Indicted on Bank Robbery Charges

Two Logan County men are under federal indictment for a series of bank robberies last fall.

A federal grand jury in Springfield returned felony indictments against 25-year-old Joseph Allspach and 32-year-old Robert McKissic, both from the town of Lake Fork.

They are accused of robbing banks in Chestnut and Kenney, and of attempting to rob another bank in Buffalo.

They are also facing carjacking charges for forcibly taking a bank worker’s car. Both men remain in federal custody.
