and wrote Even during our founding fathers days, they knew guns were constantly evolving. The Second Amendment says," A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." What were the Militias in that day.. The People. The People came together to defend what they hoped would be their own country.

How is that open to interpretation? These are people that went through hell for this country and they knew what it would take to keep her free. If you take all of the gun owners and pool them together from every state, you would have more people in that militia than the entire United States Armed forces.

I'm not saying anyone is planning on invading America, but being able to own these weapons help people from thinking about it.

Actual FBI reports that gun violence is down nearly fifty percent since the 1960's; and incidents like Newtown and the Aurora shooting have stayed the same. No one can help if an individual has a sick mind, however we should have the right to defend our self's from these sick individuals.

Article three. Section 4 of the Constitution states that the federal government has the duty to protect individuals from invasion and domestic threats. The greatest way to protect us from these domestic threats is to arm her citizens. Citizens that are armed can defend themselves and those around them. They have video's of that kind of stuff on youtube. The person doesn't get shot. but knowing someone could shoot them makes them flee.

I find it SAD that in an age where the federal government seems to be more interested in taking our liberties than anything else, that Illinois had to be told, "No, you HAVE to give them the right to carry handguns". And then they go and try to ban handguns.
This state is a joke...
