State health officials are advising you not to eat store-bought chopped romaine lettuce for now, after the produce was linked to a multi-state E. coli outbreak.

36 people in 11 states have gotten sick from the lettuce, including 1 case in Illinois. But health officials say no common brand, supplier or distributor has been identified.

They say if you have any store-bought romaine lettuce in your fridge, don’t eat it, just throw it out.
