The teenager accused of phoning in bomb threats against four Springfield schools last week has been released from the Sangamon County Juvenile Detention Center.
The 14-year-old will remain on house arrest and under electronic monitoring while the case against him continues. As a condition of his release, he is not allowed to use cell phones, computers, tablets or other electronic devices.
State’s Attorney John Milhiser declines to say who has custody of the teen for now.
His next court appearance is set for November 1st.
